1. No bleeds – by designing your project so the image doesn’t run to the edge of the paper, we eliminate both the need to print on a larger sheet of paper and the added labour of trimming to size.
2. Single Sided – Although it will serve you well to use both sides of the paper, if money’s tight just print on the one side. Better still, team up with a complementary business and pay for one side each!
3. DIY Printing – Colour laser printers are quite affordable now, and are more versatile and cheaper to run than inkjet printers. Having a job professionally designed and set up so that you can print it in the convenience of your own office means you can have high impact material while keeping some cash in your back pocket!
4. Size Doesn’t Matter – Instead of producing a large brochure, you may be able to say what you need to in a smaller postcard (great for the environment, too!)
5. Larger Print Runs – If you can forsee your print requirements ahead of time, running a larger quanity will cost you less per unit. You can even gang similar projects together and cut down on setup costs.
